The school pavilion was the venue chosen for the Mass in honour of Mater, the patron saint of all Sacred Heart schools, which is celebrated on October 20th.
All the students and professors of the Sagrat Cor were able to attend the ceremony, officiated by Mn. Joan Badia, as well as special guests including alumni and former teachers at the school. Members of other Sagrat Cor schools and some parents also did not want to miss the celebration.
All the sections of the school, from the Nursery school to the Vocational Training Programmes, participated to provide content and meaning in the mass, which is one of the most important celebrations in the school calendar.
Afterwards, all the guests, students and teachers were able to enjoy the traditional “ensaimada” cake that was distributed during the day and which delighted everyone who tasted it.
It was a very good day to thank Mater for many things and to ask her for fresh impetus for this academic year.
